Emerging soprano Margaret Meierhenry is a Chicago-based performer and educator from Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She has performed many leading roles such as the title roles in Handel’s Alcina, Puccini’s Suor Angelica, Eliza in Dark Sisters, and Blanche in Dialogue of the Carmelites. Recognized for her singing, Meierhenry is an American Prize finalist and Latin Grammy Nominee. She is currently pursuing a master’s in vocal performance at DePaul University and holds a BMA from the University of South Dakota. With experience in singing and teaching across all styles, she is versatile in anything from pop and musical theatre to classical, Meierhenry is committed to creating adaptive and engaging lesson plans to promote a lifelong love of music.

Martyna Gogolkiewicz

Martyna started taking private piano lessons at the age of 5 and then continued her musical education all the way through High School. Her entire childhood was filled with piano competitions and concerts, as well as exams and practicing; constantly developing and expanding her skills. Martyna is currently a music student at Oakland University and is studying music education/piano performance. She is also a singer and songwriter with many compositions under her belt.
Martyna loves creating a safe and fun environment during her lessons as well as developing a friendly relationship with her students and families. She is looking forward to sharing her love of music with young students that want to grow and develop their skills.

Rachel Kye

Rachel Kye is a vocalist and educator from Southern California. She has taken part in many
opera productions and has played Orfeo in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, Zia Principessa in Puccini’s
Suor Angelica, Mistress Quickly in Verdi’s Falstaff, and more. She was a finalist in the
Meistersinger Vocal Competition in Graz, Austria in 2022 and the winner of the Kleinman
Competition in Chicago.
Ms. Kye is an experienced piano instructor who has been teaching since 2011. With a playful
and patient demeanor, Rachel connects with both children and adults, tailoring her teaching
approach to their unique needs.
Her flexibility and personalized guidance allow students of all ages to explore music at their
own pace, whether they're beginners or seasoned players. Rachel's dedication to cultivating a
solid foundation in music theory, musicianship, and technique ensures her students not only
play the piano but also develop a deep understanding of music.
In addition to piano instruction, Rachel is also a skilled voice teacher, offering comprehensive
vocal training to students across age groups. She is committed to continuous improvement in
the art of pedagogy and makes sure motivate her students to approach their musical studies
with enthusiasm.
Whether you're a budding pianist or an aspiring vocalist, Ms. Kye will gently guide you on a
transformative musical journey, fostering a lasting love for music and its expressive forms.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in vocal performance from DePaul University.

Sadie Cheslak

Sadie Cheslak is a dramatic mezzo soprano with a voice that’s been described as “velvet warmth” and
“rich like chocolate”. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice from Concordia College, and a
Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Literature from the U of Illinois Urbana Champaign.
She is currently pursuing her Post Masters Certificate in Performance in Voice at DePaul University
where she studies with Dr. Linda DiFiore. Sadie will make her debut with DePaul Opera Theater this May
and June as Florence Pike in Albert Herring (Britten). Other roles include Lampito in Lysistrata (Mark
Adamo), Lucretia in The Rape of Lucretia (Britten), Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance (Gilbert and
Sullivan), Maddalena in Rigoletto (Verdi), and Mother in Amahl and the Night Visitors (Menotti). Sadie
has performed new work operas as Lumee in prism by Ellen Reid, Jane Doe in Black Square by Ilya
Demutsky, and the Surrogate in The Surrogate by Sky Macklay. Miss Cheslak has been heard as
Bathsheba in Honeggar’s King David, as the alto soloist in Rachmaninoff’s The All-Night Vigil, Bach’s
Jesu, meine Freude, CPE Bach’s Magnificat, Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Weinachts-Oratorium, as Carmen
in a concert of Carmen suites by Bizet, in Beethoven’s Mass in C, and as Maria in Resphigi’s Lauda per la
Nativitá del Signore.
Sadie Cheslak has been teaching voice throughout her singing education and career, and has enjoyed
teaching students from 5 to 81 years old! She enjoys equally teaching opera, choral singing, music theater,
pop, and jazz singing and believes that a solid vocal technique can be applied to all genres of singing.
When not in the practice rooms, she enjoys caring for her 45 houseplants, watching horror movies and
spending time with her friends in Edgewater, Chicago.

Daniel Rausch

Daniel Rausch began singing as soon as he could talk and only grew from there, honing his talent at Millikin University and meeting countless people along the way to help inspire his art. Daniel was trained classically in voice and piano and loves to jam on the guitar as well. His goal as an educator is inspiring artists to express their individual voices through healthy technique and practicing. Daniel loves the opportunity to help build confidence in artists. Whether preparing for an audition or just starting out, Daniel is eager to work with you! Aside from music, Daniel is a Chicago based actor and loves to spend as much time as possible outside.

Katlyn Iacovino

Katlyn Iacovino, soprano, is a native of Tampa, Florida and currently based out of Chicago, Illinois. Ms. Iacovino is most proud of her recent performances in London as Morgana in Alcina with Ensemble OrQuesta, as well as in Kyiv, Ukraine where she performed with the National Presidential Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine. Ms. Iacovino holds a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Bowling Green State University and master’s degree in Voice Performance from Roosevelt University. Ms. Iacovino believes each singer has a unique gift and she aims to tailor her lessons to help develop each singer along their personal vocal journey.

Kim Hasara

Pittsburgh native Kim Hasara embarked on her musical journey when she sang the Star Spangled Banner in her high school for their sporting events. She started taking private voice lessons at the age of 15 and participated in her school’s musical theater productions. Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree from Westminster College and Master’s degree from Duquesne University in Vocal Performance. Originally classically trained, Kim placed first in the National Association of Teachers of Singing for two consecutive years and was a semi-finalist for the national Classical Singer competition held in Los Angeles in 2010. She can be found in the Chicagoland area teaching studio voice/piano lessons, mentoring for the music program Guitars Over Guns, writing music, and performing live locally.
